HOBBS Former U.S. Rep. Harry Teague says he enjoyed his time in public service but has no plans to seek another office.

Steve Pearce walloped Teague by ten points, 55%-45% to retake the seat he resigned in 2008 to run for US Senate (lost to Tom Udall, left-wing environmentalist).
Teague lost due to his support of Pelosi's cap and trade proposal and campaign ads highlighting his cancellation of heath care for his company's employees four days before Christmas 2009.

Well, as long as Steve keeps his sights set on staying in the House, that may be true... But I bet the first time the GOP down here in the 2nd District shows the slightest weakness, I bet Ol’ Harry will be reconsidering.
Guess I should have put in the first comment that Teague is a DemocRat and Pearce a Pub.
