Metro Police late Tuesday seized about $98,000 worth of khat — a psychoactive drug with ties to the Middle East and Africa — that officials worry is gaining popularity in the United States.......... All of these Khat-chewing koranimals should be considered a major threat to our national security. They cruise around Dar-al-Harb, high as a kite, in their Taxis (Aka-Technical Vehicles) learning everything that any Cell would LOVE to know concerning Targets of Opportunity w/o drawing any major attention. Under this guise, they have access to the softest of all targets (people & infrastructure) & this is another recipe for disaster yet to unfold. They are the best recon scouts for urban warfare.

Selling this illegal narcotic funds AQ & AL-Shabaab in Africa. Using it while driving a taxi & ignoring it’s effects are all illegal on too many levels. It represents another threat to our national security. As for Black Hawk Down. Everything I’ve read over the years tells me that, throughout history, drugging soldiers may make them fearless but it also makes them stupid and easy to shoot.
