EXCERPTS
"I didn't have commitments, except for way in the future; I had nothing pressing," he told the publication. "I got practical issues
I had just got taken for one half of everything I had in the divorce, so it's not like I don't have to work."
(snip)
"Let's face it," he declared, "I'm a person that feels pretty alienated from the rest of the world and never felt understood by anyone."

I saw
Mystic River. I thought it was more of his self-absorbed, overwrought style of "serious" acting.
His claim to fame was Fast Times at Ridgemont High.

He walks the talk. Give him some credit.Absolutely not. Marxism is evil. Read your history. Just because he is personally doing some good charity work does NOT IN ANY WAY compensate for the evil system he is trying to foist on the people on this planet.
At best he is a useful idiot. At worst he is intentionally implementing an evil system.
He gets no respect and no credit from me.
Nor do you if you support such people and such evil marxist systems.
If you support marxism, why are you here on Free Republic?

I really liked Robin Wright until I found out that she married Penn. I loved her in "Toys," "Princess Bride," and of course, "Forest Gump." She's gorgeous and a good actress. But she had terrible taste in men. Maybe that's changed...

You nailed it!!!
Except for the fact that he is being forced to share his wealth with someone he knew and bore his children.
The rest of us are forced to share our humble earnings with total strangers who refuse to work and support their several babies whose fathers refuse to do so.

You should worry less about being understood, and concentrate more on understandingWords of wisdom. I think we could all probably benefit from putting that into practice. I know I would.

Let’s face it,” he declared, “I’m a person that feels pretty alienated from the rest of the world and never felt understood by anyone.”
Penn is not a victim at all...He’s trying to suggest that he’s some kind of “misunderstood genius”. He must really know how it feels to want!

Hey, Sean. Robin and I hooked up the other night. She told me she didn’t know sex could be so good. Said she didn’t know that the woman was “allowed” to enjoy it, too.
But it’s OK. I understand Michael Moore is feeling kind of lonely. You two are perfect for each other.
Sorry. Gotta go. Robin is calling me. What, baby? Sure, four times is perfectly OK.

"I'm a person that feels pretty alienated from the rest of the world and never felt understood by anyone." Poor Spicoli! I only wish Robin Wright (a major hottie BTW) had taken him for everything he's got, not just fifty percent!

This COMMUNIST SCUMBAG whining over having to share his wealth is the FUNNIEST DAMN THING IVE EVER HEARD!!!! That was my first thought, too. He's all for the rest of us giving up our luxurious 5 year old cars so the poor can have laptops and cell phones, but can't get behind his ex wife wanting her share of community property.
