A father was unable to watch as a Massachusetts jury was shown video of his eight-year-old son accidentally shooting himself in the head with an Uzi submachine gun.
Dr Charles Bizilj closed his eyes as the graphic video was shown, drawing a collective gasp of horror in the courtroom.
The video, which has not been released, shows the front of the 9mm micro Uzi kicking back towards Christopher Bizilj's head, and a part of the boy's skull flying off.
Christopher's mother had to leave the courtroom in tears before the video was played. Idiot pleaded not guilty to getting his boy killed.
all not well in liberalland?
down in a place like georgia the red necks would have had too much sense to set up a dangerous situation like this, where a gun on auto gets out of control of an operator not strong enough to keep its aim from going wild.
the guy running the exhibit is being accused — not the dad
The way I read this, the sponsor of the gun show has pleaded not guilty to manslaughter. That man is not the boys father. Did I read it wrong?
The father gave the gun to his son, the stupid father was a cop. He then filmed his son blowing his head off. The story of when it happened was posted here as well.
The above post has nothing to do with the story, just another example of people being deadly careless with weapons and children.
You are correct, the doctor was the father, both people were nuts.
My son was 8 when he shot his first subgun a HK MP5 but I was right next to him hands on making sure he didn't lose control. The first couple were seimi-auto the first couple bursts were with, only 3 rounds in the mag. He walked away with a huge grin on his face.
I wonder how much the boys father had to do with it getting his son on video shooting it by himself.
Sometimes bad things happen we have become why to fast too charge people with a crime just because some one dies.

The story appears to have been written by a retarded person.
Well pat yourself on the back for being so much smarter than the good doctor and the police chief!
And your point is.
The story is written by a retarded person, as so many stories are these days, but here’s my opinion regarding what happened:
All responsible for putting an Uzi in the hands of an 8 year old are equally liable for civil penalties, including and especially the father. I don’t see that any crime was committed here.
When I first read this story I also thought the father was on trial and I thought, that’s not fair, he’s already punished with the death of his son.
But now that I see the father is pushing a law suit I refer to back to my opinion on this: all are responsible, including and especially the father.
What’s an 8 year old need with Uzi practice? He should be learning marksmanship with a .22 rifle, not titillating himself and his parents with combat weaponry.
I am the only one, in this room, professional enough, to carry this Glock foty. BANG!

Couldn't agree more.
Would you let an eight year old operate a bandsaw by himself?
It's idiocy like this that hurts the Second Amendment cause.
It’s particularly hard to control the rise with a micro Uzi, even for an adult using the folding stock. High rate of fire, and short, giving you less leverage.
This vid starts in slo-mo. You can see the shooter having to bear down to counter the rise.
