Rep. Marsha Blackburn introduced legislation Wednesday to deny the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) regulatory oversight over the Internet, which the Tennessee Republican insisted was the sole prerogative of Congress to administer.
I agree that the Internet faces a number of challenge, Blackburn said in a release. Only Congress can address those challenges without compounding them. Until we do, the FCC and other federal bureaucracies should keep their hands off the net.

The best thing would be video of the Dhimmis defending hated bills like Obamacare and regulatory nightmares like “net neutrality.”
Few of them would stick up for the Obama agenda before the election; now some are going to have to do it.
Until Congress addresses them" . . .
Excellent!
The problem now is that the Senate and the WH are controlled by the Dems. This may not get beyond the House, but I pray that the House piles up a bunch of things like this dismantling 0’s first 2 years so that in 2012 there will be enough R Senators to make it easier to fix this. I also expect Barry to last no longer than the second worst President in modern times, Jimmy Carter.
The demon possessed demoncrates must be pissing in their pants...cannot blame Bush for their own demon possessions... I hope the are happy with Satan inspired false government statutory doctrines which they have promoted and voted for in trying to destroy this free country. At their judgment - God will not accept blaming them Bush anymore, nor will He accept their ideologies...
Give her a break.
In the context of her statement, it’s the elected representative Congress’ job to make laws re: the internet...not the unelected, unaccountable FCC’s.
More good news today!
So the FCC branches out on their own volition to regulate the internet. The EPA decides that, since Congress failed to pass a bill on climate change, that it will just go ahead on its own volition and regulate carbon emissions. Secretary Salazar of the Dept of Interior just decides that he can declare “wild lands” on BLM lands wherever he wants - shutting off access and use by the public. Tidwell, the head of the Forest Service decides that he will implement an “all lands” approach to planning - which also includes private lands in the watershed.
Since when do agencies write their own laws beyond the delegated authority that Congress has given them? Congress better step up with some oversight hearings and call these bozos on the carpet, if Obama won’t let them pull in the reins or cut the purse strings by legislation.
