OKLAHOMA CITY -- A metro homeowner shoots at an intruder. It happened early Monday morning in Northwest Oklahoma City. Police say the suspect made his way into the home in a very unconventional way, climbing through the dog door.

Oklahoma City Police Lt. Kevin Parton says, "He was opening and closing the door to make sure he could get out of the house when he was confronted by the homeowner."

It was a skunk, the two legged homo stupidus variety! The homeowner needs some range time though if they took "several shots" and the guy still ran away.

I keep picturing the scene in “Home Alone” where the kid shoots the bad guy with the BB gun.

The think that really cracks me up about this story is that this piece of sh** burglar was actually named Dung. I don't have a dog door, but I do have dogs, if I find any dung in my house it will not the two legged kind.

If the dog door is big enough for a person t crawl through, wouldn’t a reasonable person think that there’s a large dog waiting inside the house?

I have a HUGE doggy door at my house but I’ve always felt safe. Face it, even the dumbest criminal has to know if you have a doggy door that big, chances are you have a doggy that big and any one dumb enough to get down on their hands and knees and crawl through to look up into the face of BIG DOG deserves what he would get.

Good shooting, Citizen. Civilization thanks you. (However, more range time is needed)
