Tea party favorite will visit Iowa (Bachmann)

U.S. Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., and a Waterloo, Iowa, native, will visit Iowa later this month to discuss, among other things, a 2012 run for president.

Her visit is not a declaration of candidacy, but "nothing is off the table," according to spokesman Doug Sachtleben.

Bachmann, elected in 2006, has become a darling of the tea party movement as well as fiscal and social conservatives for her conservative viewpoints and frequent criticism of President Barack Obama. Her frequent appearances on cable and network news shows have given the 54-year-old Republican a national following.

I couldn’t care less. What she doesn’t have is any liberal ideas.

theres more similarity between a manager of a mcdonald restaurant and the president, than a representative and president. Skills sets are totally different. You may know your stuff is not enough. Teachers make lousy leaders. You maybe an ace soccer player, but it doesn’t mean you can be captain of the team

Huckabee’s got 10 years as gubner. He still sucks eggs. Romeny has tons of exec experience in addition to gubner. He’s even worse. Those are your boys if you prize real executive experience. IOW, I’ll gladly take a Lincoln over an FDR.

My thoughts as well. Just because a person has the right stances on important issues doesn’t mean they would be a good president. I would rather Bachmann remain in the house. Her talents are needed there.

If Bachmann runs, it means Palin isn’t. There’s no way they both run.

So if Michelle gets the “unmerciful” attacks increased like the other woman has, will you say “ well, I like Michelle a lot but she has been beat up so much by the MSM that I don’t know if people will accept her now, it’s just the reality!”. Hmmm?

don’t ask these people to use their brains. they prefer the bliss of ignorance.. they honestly think Palin is hated for who she is.. but the rest of us know better.

You are right..... They point to polls that historically never mean anything until people actually run, they try to pump up other candidates not out of true admiration but to so-called hurt others, blah, blah , blah!!!!!!! Etc

It's all a diversion to knock Michelle off her game. The focus right now from conservative leaders like Michelle, DeMint etc... MUST be repealing the Obomination of our constitution. The media has a vested interest in changing the subject and making it all about the 2012 horse race.
