Yeah, I remember the crevo threads, and I know 1000 silverlings does, too. I remember seeing HIM post on them occasionally, but not you.
One or two posts on the crevo threads, when the last of them as essentially over a year ago is lost.
Some on the RF threads where you posted on the same thread but never claimed to post directly TO me (and 1000 silverlings has been on those same threads as well), does not make enough of a history. My posting on long threads is sporadic, due to having a life. If I go a day or so without posting on FR, I simply am not going to read through the entire thread to get caught up. I could easily miss someone.
And you are not on my homeschool ping lists.
I’ve been on FR for over 5 years and *met* thousands of posters and simply cannot remember those who I do not encounter on a regular basis.

I never thought you made the posts over there and then *pointed it out* to JR. I’m sure someone else did the nefarious deed. Nobody is complaining about being alerted to the scam. It was the delivery, shall we say, that raised red flags all over the place. The only reason I questioned is was when you made the comment about it only being a *joke*. I had no idea in what context you meant that and was just looking for clarification.
I filed an abuse report over there and complained, although “my” post is still up.
I am willing to give anyone a second chance, but as far as real trust, that trust is going to have to be earned. I’ve learned the hard way too many times to let my guard down just on someone’s say so.
No, you did not hurt my feelings. I do not offend easily like that. But I am not going to go down without a fight if I perceive someone is out to get me and that's how it came across initially.
I will accept your apology and drop the issue.
I'm willing to man up, and be accountable for my actions, my own deeds & words. But that does not equate to having to sit quietly for watching them twisted & turned into yet something else entirely. For any here to expect me to have to do so, is much more than they might require of themselves.

That may be a bit too much for the some of your lilliputian 'friends' to wrap their minds around. But I do hope you and some of your friends are suitably insulted. For you have all displayed small "mean" little mentalities.

Many of those whose names were misrepresented on that forum have been the subject of attack and smear campaigns before. You can't fault them for being gun shy after a while.
Actions have consequences. The consequences of your actions could have resulted in the banning or suspension of good, solid, conservative FReepers. But adding that intentional insult (by your own admission) does nothing to impress us with the sincerity of your apology or explanations.

The post was addressed to JR himself with a *Look at what metmom is up to on this thread while FR was down* completely missing the fact that the post he was attributing to me as having been done yesterday when FR was down was done two days before that.
There were many ways of dealing with that situation.
Sadly for him, BD picked the worst one.
A rude one, too. Mistakes a man being polite, apologizing for causing offense, with something negative.
HG has posted on this thread, that it was he, himself that posted what went up there under his own moniker. He thought it funny (I assume) as he was openly mocking them, right in their faces. Frankly, I was a bit shocked when I encountered it, but no matter. He had his own reasons
Simple. I posted to JR, made mention of mm's supposed comment there, so added her as a Fr curtesy. Is that clear enough for you? I guessed wrongly she would see the humor, and had assumed she already knew of the post over there with her name on it, faked or no, AS I HAVE EXPLAINED.
Or will you also persist in seeing this as some sort of plot on my part? You know, the "smell test" part you claim I'm not passing? If that's what you meant.
I'd ping JR here, but I'm not looking for a referee, or wish to bother him with this basic misunderstanding.

Think of it as return fire, Nothing more, nothing less. 'Cause I've had enough. I'm losing patience with it. But to see even that as some "proof" that I had some dark hand in manipulation of things over there, is to go back to the same ridiculousness that has side-tracked both us, and others for a while now.
I’m sure not entirely comfortable with his flavor of drivenness.
