Suggestion: look at the medical hiring in your own areas. State-run hospitals & med schools, health care ‘information systems,’ pediatricians, etc., etc.
The move to insurance HMOs pulled money from private practices 20 years ago, giving technicians & clerks decision-making capabilities. Now, the government wants that $$, and to make the docs into simple technicians.
But the med students will still have to put up tens of thousands in debt and years of their lives........
Right?

Didn’t they promise to forgive all medical school loans in return for 10 years of working for the government?
I remember seeing some TV shows with med students who thought this was a wonderful idea.
