This is my 4th winter in Tampa, last month was the FIRST time that I’ve had to turn the heat on in my apartment since I’ve been here..

And, Pinellas County had a major water main break. We were cold and scruffy for Christmas.
Hey, and if we thought security checks in the airport was slow, the snow delays were a killer.
I had to put on shoes and jettison my flip flops for a few days. When it's cold at the beach it seems a lot worse.
Man I saw that on Bay News 9. It was huge. The main was like a 3 foot pipe. Good thing I live on the island.
The reverse 911 was 4 days late. It’s a good thing I turned on Bay News 9 after being away all evening. Anyway, by the time I got a big pot to boil water, the boil was cancelled. I didn’t wear my contacts until the boil water was lifted. I was in a Christmas Eve concert but anything w/contact lenses is too iffy. Had enough eye problems prior to be vain on Christmas Eve so I wore my Scooby Doo type glasses instead. I was behind the bell ringers, the big piano and so no problem. We all looked the same in our choir robes anyway. They were HOT. Wearing choir robes is a contributor to global warming - seriesly.
