Pelosi Statement on Republican Bill to Repeal Health Reform

Washington, D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi released the following statement today after the incoming House Republican leadership posted their legislation to repeal the Affordable Care Act:
“As we begin the 112th Congress, the number one priority of House Democrats will continue to be putting Americans to work. Each new proposal will be measured by a simple test: does it create jobs? Does it strengthen America’s middle class? And does it reduce the deficit? When our Republican colleagues put forward solutions to the problems facing Americans that meet these tests, they will find in Democrats a willing partner.
“Instead of joining Democrats in our efforts for job creation, Republicans are planning to put insurance companies back in charge by repealing patient’s rights.
“House Democrats will fight to ensure that children with pre-existing conditions continue to get coverage; that young people can stay on their parents’ plans until age 26; that pregnant women and breast cancer survivors can no longer be thrown off the rolls; and that seniors do not pay higher drug prices.”
NOW they’re worried about the deficit? Nonsense.
Ms. Pelosi can’t count. Simple as that.
I’d bet the house that Pelosi has paid for a stranger’s healthcare costs, voluntarily, exactly as many times as she’s been to the moon.
Yet they, the left, think it’s “moral” to put a gun to everyone else’s head to force them to pay for a stranger’s healthcare.
In the past this might have worked but the electorate was engaged this last 2 years. They will not forget the Dems and how they lied, tried, applied, fried our rights.
At least thats what I hope.
Republicans MUST explain why they are repealing the Health Care.

So what if the Republicans offered up a bill including these things but repealing everything else? Do you think she would go for it then?

Oh, so that's why they changed their minds on the death panels - so
seniors wouldn't be burdened with the inevitable cost increases.
And, at the same time, push policies that prevent development and/or approval of new therapies, take away FDA approval for expensive breast cancer therapies like Avastin, and decimate medicare. She's such a witch.
Healthcare, education, and energy control
are the three legs of the totalitarian “stool”.
They want total control of our lives.
Well... this is her parting shot... she can do squat to stop the conservative agenda from moving out of the House. Dingy Harry will be hard pressed to maintain a firewall against it.

Nancy’s botox treatments will meet the ultimate challenge. Can she survive the nexrt two years without her face cracking? Worth watching.

Pelosi is stuck out on thin ice, its breaking all around her and everyone is tossing a line to her.
But nobody is holding on to the other end.
