HaH, hilarious. I thought folks were going to have some talk about their guns etc. in here.

I am really stuck on my carry arm now. I have always carried 1911 but it kept tearing out my pants in the small of the back where I carry it.

I happened to come across an xd 40 and picked it up for a good price. I have carried it and it’s a lot thicker due to the double stack setup and it’s also more comfortable because it has less sharp edges.

I by far feel more comfy with a 1911 because of how long I have carried them and how often but this gun has me impressed.

I always called them plastic covered sissy guns just to needle my friends but am having to tone down the grief I give them because I actually kind of like carrying it, tho I will probably pick up a .45 and carry it instead.

My New Year is already better than last. My New Year Resolution was to get a Mosin Nagant, and 10 hours into the year I succeeded.

WOO-HOO!

It’s at the gunsmith now. I figured as long as I was gonna have them do a good safety check, I might as well let them use their oven and clean her up real good.

It is, it’s huge. Without the sharp edges tho it really does have some appeal. now in a holster on the side or in my jackass rig I will take a 1911 all day long but just because of wear and tear on my back and on my car seats sob the xd seems almost a better fit.

I’m not sure tho if I am just liking it because it’s different.

Always good to start a new year with a new gun.
I heard those things kick like an Army mule. Or so mylife says...

I used to have a motorcycle shop. When I closed it down I moved all the equipment into my garage at home. I don’t have the stones to actually do my own gunsmithing work but I do a lot of cleaning and small fixing. I do have a friend who owns a gunshop here in Kansas City and I do ask him whenever I try something out of my league.

It’s really fun I do wish I had the courage to try more.
