Perhaps Mr. Kristof could give away all of his money and go work as hired help on a farm like all the other welfare queens should be doing. He might then appreciate the value of labor and experience the honor of producing something.

Did I say “honor?” I thought that word was all but banned in the United States circa 2012.

Worship of the Government is not food for the SOUL.

What a brainless heretic.

We practice wealth redistribution every Sunday morning at our church.

Except that self-pity and envy are childish emotions that should not be indulged. We were given the 10th Commandment for a reason.
Besides, we simply cannot be responsible for other people’s feelings. It is the worst form of slavery.

I spent seven long months working in Communist China in the 70s. Let me tell you, if you want to see “melancholy of the soul,” go live in a totalitarian regime where the government controls not only your income and its redistribution, but every single aspect of your life.

Government oppression and control is the root cause of “melancholy of the soul.” Freedom and liberty give your life meaning and provide uplifting joy and optimism.

As they say, “liberalism is a mental disorder.”

I don’t like income redistribution whether it’s up or down.

As soon as he gives away every penny he has and gets rid of all his property an takes a lifetime vow to live a life of poverty and destitution I may consider it. The left never leads by example, they want others to make sacrifices. How can I take them seriously when they are not the ones to show others by example?

He can start by transferring his assets to me. I’m fairly sure my net worth is less than his.

Collective salvation through liberation theology, wherein the government takes your assets for your own good. Great plan, huh?
