A 20-year-old woman is dead and seven other people were hurt in a multiple shooting in Lowell.
Middlesex District Attorney Gerry Leone said two Lowell men, 20-year-old Jameson Phoun and 19-year-old Sothy Voeun, have been arrested and will be arraigned on murder charges Monday.

Those names sound SE Asian, like Hmong maybe.
The names sound like Hmong (”mung”) surnames.
Police say it started earlier in the evening when there was a fight and 20-year-old Jameson Phoun and 19-year-old Sothy Voeun were asked to leave.
Investigators say the men came back a short time later with guns and started shooting.
“It was just like Rambo,” a 17-year-old witness told WBZ Radio.
“(She) got shot in the neck and the chest and she couldn’t breathe. I saw a lot of people with blood on them getting shot.”
“Send pricks like that up here and we’ll send em back in body bags.”
I suggest that just voting Snow and Collins out of their sinecure your Maine voters might be more productive.
IIRC, those Liberals voted for the enviro acts which so harmed Maine’s forest industry. Not to mention so many aspects of Obamunism which they voted for.

Two injured in separate shooting, stabbing in Lynn

The victims of a separate shooting and stabbing on New Year’s Day are recovering from injuries in area hospitals, Lynn police said.
A 55-year-old woman was shot in the chest by a stray bullet fired from a gun outside her home at 7:05 a .m., as she dressed for work this morning, police said.
The victim, who was not identified, was in stable condition this afternoon at Massachusetts General Hospital, said Lynn Police Lt. Peter Holey.

Lowell is the city where THE FIGHTER was set and shot. It looked like a pretty depressing place.

These are Cambodian or Southeast Asian “yutes”. They have been shooting back and forth at each other for twenty years.

A friend of ours played one Micky Ward’s sisters. Not much of a speaking role but quite a bit of screen time. The sisters are quite a bunch just like the Mom.
The names of the parole board were all printed in the paper but I had hoped that their pictures would also have been shown.
