I really like the title:

Instead of adults treating his eligibility as a serious Constitutional issue, we act more like children negotiating bed time on a school night. It's not a complicated, hard question, but the answer is difficult for some to accept.

When I transferred my college credits from one place to another, I had to provide an original birth certificate..When I applied to withdraw a little money I had paid into a retirement fund, I had to provide an original birth certificate...I was happy to do so, because I know this is a safety mechanism in our society to protect us from fraud and imposters. These institutions did not tell me it was O.K. to just have someone at the state call to say they had seen my original birth certificate..THEY HAD TO HAVE PROOF! WORD OF MOUTH IS NO PROOF! When I think of how ridiculous it is that the POTUS has refused to provide this very basic, common for every citizen, proof of the circumstances of his birth for eligibility to occupy the most important job in the world, I feel great fear for the world. This is huge and any citizen should be up in arms over this refusal..I am not a birther, as such, but how can you not question when this is stonewalled to this extent? Those who are against this kind of proof say the birthers are goofballs..I believe those who want this to remain a mystery are the danger..This is not going away and Mr. Abercrombie, the old Hippie, will not make it go away with his comments.

However, with the 2010 elections I belioeve we will see some states pass such laws. I’d love to see Ohio with a new GOP Governor and GOP majorities in the senate and house pass such a law.

Couldn't agree more.I've seen a "copy of the COLB" that contained a baby's footprint,an official-looking seal and the signature of an attending ob,as well as a registrar;the document appears to be legit,and it says Zero was Kenya-born.On the other hand is this greenish-looking thing that looks like a 12-year-old generated it on his home PC and then circulated it around the internet....this whole thing could have been cleared up quickly and without fanfare if there wasn't something hinky going on. This stinks to high heaven.America has been sold a bill of goods.

Abercrombies recent election - I'm assuming in November - hasn't produced a peep about obama's COLB until obama decided to go to Hawaii for a visit.

Obama has already supposedly spent over a million dollars to keep this lie secret, so why isn't he raising hell that the governor of Hawaii is "studying ways to make it public"?
