JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) -- Sen. Lisa Murkowski has been certified the winner of Alaska's Senate race following a nearly two-month legal battle.
State officials on Thursday signed paperwork making her win over GOP rival Joe Miller official.

Seriously this one election has damn near made me crazy. I cant even tell you how I despise little Lisa. She will be a witch next couple of years. Quite honestly I blame John Cornyn for this and our leadership....
This proves Stalin’s tenet that it doesn’t matter who votes, but who COUNTS the votes.
Eternity may best be described as waiting for the GOP Senate leadership to strip Murkowski of all her leadership [positions, committee chairs or co-chairs, and to boot her out of the caucus.

Failure to strip her of her committee assignments gave her candidacy a legitimacy it should never have had.

I blame the “good” folks of Alaska.
Could it also be that Miller was an awful candidate?
Face it, Lisa won with a write in, something I did not think was possible. Miller road Palin’s endorsement to get the nomination, then went out of his way to distance himself from her. And after all this it comes out that he was disciplined for ethics violations.
Miller sucked, that’s all there is to it.
I don’t like Lisa at all but this would not have been possible without Joe going out of his way to lose it!

This action had minimal impact on the election. The groups receiving large amounts of pork pushed her election very hard. She promised them more pork, a legalized vote buying scheme.
This election along with Colorado and Nevada were crippling to the conservative push to regain control of the country. We should have won all three races easily. Somehow, we lost all three races.
This is BS she lost then tried again this cretin needs stripped of her credentials.
Change is feared by the aristocratic Republican hierarchy.
They will do anything to retain the old guard.
I have to agree with O Donnell,the investigation of her campaign is politically motivated
She promised pork because she was in a position to deliver pork. Republican leadership should have taken that away from her.
That’s just it. If the leadership had stripped her leadership credentials and future prospects, she could not have promised all that pork.
Little Lisa was given the Senate seat by her dad, then gov. of AK, and by d@#n it's hers and the good ole boys will do everything they can for a fellow clubbie. When she lost the primary and set up this run, she should have gotten big time heat for not supporting Miller. Dems elected her and we can count on her being a good little aisle crosser.

We have to just keep making the case that the political class is corrupt and they want to make us poorer and our lives harder while they get richer and their lives get easier.

The “loosers” in this are the citizens of AK.
She purchased her victory with the taxpayers funds to groups she “bought” and to Dems who put her in office. She is a total political whore and needs to be recognized as such. And remembered.
