As my Anthropologist daughter would explain: My people are “Out of Africa” probably kicked out by darker locals. Does that mean we own the continent?

What IS the statute of limitations on having your land stolen?

Mexico back to Spain??? I think not. Blacks would go back to Africa, however. Oh, I’d love to see how well they’d be received back there.

Hush, Child. Had WXRGina any idea to whom she was speaking, she’d be ashamed. Leave it be. How was Christmas?

Tough-talking noob? I notice you didn’t answer the question, probably because you have no good answer.

Instead you prefer jackassism.

The feasibility study, eyeing 650 million acres of federally owned land in the U.S

Uh-huh... and what about formerly federally owned land now in the hands of private interests?

Actually, if you had approached me with a modicum of politeness, I might have a reasonable conversation with you.

Instead, you chose silly tough talk and unprovoked accusation.

By the way, a good Christian does not accuse another of not being Christian. Especially based on four words.

If you'd been around here for a while, you'd know that I really don't trust any media, regardless of the source. I've seen firsthand on so many occasions how they twist and distort.

I suppose I could come on all tough and attack you for falling all over what the media puts out and eating it up with a fork and a spoon, but I tend not to attack people in such a manner.

I have enough self-confidence where I don't have to be rude to people with no provocation.

Happy New Year!

With all due respect, Allegra has had her hands full in Afghanistan and I believe she's very aware that she's there so you can dish the comments. She's a good woman and a good American who has put it on the line for folks to sit around and divvy up what she's risked it all to defend. Enough, please. Although she'd probably tell me to pipe down she can fight her own battles -- and I'd let her. She has youth and vigor on her side. ;-)

Boy, Oh boy, that would be a real mess for Europe and England.

Tides of different people swept back and forth over all the land.

Hushing (or taking orders) ain't my MO and I'm no child.

Christmas was as good as it could be for being 7,000 miles from home.

I hope yours was good as well.

Happy New Year.

Actually, it's Iraq. ;-)

Thank you for the kind words.

Minuit didn’t buy it fair and square.

History indicates he or the dutch were sold Manhatten and assorted other lands some 6 times over.

One popular history of Manhattan notes that the Canarsie Indians “dwelt on Long Island, merely trading on Manhattan, and their trickery [in selling what they didn’t possess to the Dutch] made it necessary for the white man to buy part of the island over again from the tribes living near Washington Heights. Still more crafty were the Raritans of [Staten Island], for the records show that Staten Island was sold by these Indians no less than six times.” http://www.straightdope.com/columns/read/715/how-much-would-the-24-paid-for-manhattan-be-worth-in-todays-money

Oh, I just “knew” you’d box my ears for that. ;-) Well, Iraq isn’t any better. Ours was fine. Pat was home from Quantico before he heads to Ft. Sill, so we had a fairly normal Christmas. I guess it’s 29 Palms next year if he’s not in Afghanistan. No, neither of you is a child anymore, but you ought to know by now that no matter how old you get, you are still that darling child to your mother (even though my darling child is 6’4” of muscle that can toss me around like a rag doll now).

Happy New Year.

That would be the best thing to happen to the USA. Let the Indian tribes deal with NYC and the UN. I have had enough.

You’re very sensitive. I was not using “tough talk” in my question. “What’s your problem with WND?” is not tough; it’s just a question.

I’m used to seeing people ridicule and disparage WND, and most of them are put off by WND’s Christian perspective or what they perceive to be yellow journalism. My assumption that it might be the Christianity of it was just that—an assumption.

Those of us with eyes to see have ALL seen how the “media” twists and distorts the facts of life.

Never mind.

Welcome to the “conversation” between me and Allegra.

“Enough please” seems a bit much. I asked one question to which she took offense, though none was meant. As you said, she can surely handle her own conversations without any help.

There’s nothing to talk about anyway.
