Sean Hannity is on vacation this week, so his Fox News show is being hosted by Tucker Carlson. During a discussion tonight about President Obama's controversial defense of Michael Vick,Carlson said that Vick "should have been executed." Watch inside.
Tucker Carlson:Michael Vick Should Be Executed

I think the Humane Society got it exactly right when it released a statement about Vick’s involvement in its campaign to stop dogfighting:
“We were very involved in criticizing Vick for conduct which we found reprehensible, and we strongly supported law enforcement and judicial action that led to his incarceration. I don’t think anyone was tougher on him than we were. But the goal was never the continued punitive treatment of Michael Vick. The goal has always been to eradicate dogfighting in America and around the world.”
Isn’t that humane? That’s the spirit of compassion that shows people how to open their hearts and minds to other people and, by extension, to animals.
But that’s NOT what you said.
If Bill Clinton would have confessed to committing rape and done his time for the crime, I would still think he was a piece of garbage rapist.
As far as execution goes, you’d have to ask that Carlson moron about that one.
None of which has anything to do with the fact that Vick is garbage.
Just interested in her mindset.
But thats NOT what you said.

Since I say lots of things I have no idea what you are referring to.
Forgiveness for sins is a belief that is pretty fundamental to all Christian faiths. Michael Vick committed a serious crime, received punishment, and since then has in my opinion sincerely sought forgiveness.
As far as I am concerned, that is all there is to it. Killing dogs is brutish and sadistic, yes, but it is not a crime like rape or murder for which there is little room for redemption in the eyes of the law and of society in general. I’m sorry pt lovers, but at the end of the day an animal’s life is not 100% on par with a human’s life.
Michael Vick, given the sincere desire to turn his life around, should be given an opportunity to move on.
Add MY name to your list. The man is a walking POS. (Death is not the answer though - a LIFE of trying to make up for it without any public recognition or fame is the only solution)
WELL STATED - agree 1000%
For me personally, the torture of these animals is a crime like rape and murder yes. He will get no forgiveness from me. I’m sure he’s all broke up about that too though, so take what I’m saying with a grain of salt.
It’s just simply something that I will not forgive. If you find that un-Christian of me that’s fine as well. Feel free to watch the videos available on what exactly dog fighting consists of and then make your judgment on my cruel unforgiving nature.
Seems pretty cut and dry to me.....
Fair enough. My view is that I have no reason to believe that Mr. Vick's public persona is in any way a true representation of his character. He is paid handsomely to perform in a public spectacle. It is clear that without public repentance, he would not be allowed to continue to do so.
My assessment may not be fair to him (obviously if he is a changed man), but that is one of the consequences of such egregious behavior. Again, I do not oppose his earning a living, but will be hard pressed to re-evaluate his character.
Tucker Carlson is a fine interviewer....AND he doesn't go on and on for 20 minutes trying to formulate a question, like SEAN DOES, either.
So WHAT if the man loves dogs...free Country...until bHo finishes with it, anyway! Yes...you remember, that same 'ol Pres of ours that PERSONALLY CALLED THE OWNER OF THE EAGLES TO THANK THEM FOR HELPING THIS POOR LITTLE FELON ALONG AND IN DOING SO, SHOWED EVERY LITTLE GANG MEMBER AND GHETTO CHILD THAT THE 2ND CHANCE GIVEN TO A FELON IS EQUAL TO BEING A GOOD PERSON TO BEGIN WITH.
SEX IN THE OVAL OFFICE WAS A GOOD THING TO CLINTON
MAKING NICE-NICE WITH FELONS IS A GOOD THING TO OBAMA
Great examples for our kids....NOT.
My thoughts, EXACTLY.
I don’t need to watch a dog-fighting video to judge that it is a serious but not heinous crime to engage in it, any more than I would nee to watch a video of a rape to judge what it is, either, thanks.
...and are willing to spend 2.5 years in prison.
They are not a vicious breed; they are only vicious when they have been trained that way. I have personal experience.
Your use of “not heinous” is all I need to know. You haven’t the slightest clue about this. Not a clue.
And your point is? Maybe he is right on both accounts.
