How does a wife do this in a will with joint assets while still married?
Something does not add up.
Seems the wealth was more from her side of the family than John’s. She did what I think anyone would do under a similar set of circumstances. She protected her children’s inheritance from her ambulance-chasing lawyer ex. I’d call her smart.
Lucky for the kids that the dims’ plan to take the entire estate of the rich away from the family hasn’t jelled just yet.
She would probably have some say about half of the assets...but I’m not sure how she could have so very much control. Maybe she got him to sign over some control while he was in the deepest part of his shame/guilt...?
And how can she, from her will, turn over care of John’s children to their SISTER?
