Who would you then want as our presidential nominee—once you had conveniently got Palin out of the way?

I'm not trying to get Palin out of the way. I just see her a superb motivator who could make a big difference in creating conservative enthusiasm and bring more active support to the process of pulling the party away from the beltway insiders.

When it comes to her being President, I am not so sure that can happen. (just my gut)

On the left, women will get behind a woman, any woman. But the necessary middle doesn't seem to fall that way.
