Tea Party to target Sen. Scott Brown? (Yeppers! Boot the RINOs that lied to get elected!)

Tea Party activists are now talking openly about backing a Republican primary challenger against Mass. Sen. Scott Brown.

"I think the significance of that is –- I don’t know if he’ll get a primary challenge or survive in 2012 - but that is what every Republican in the Senate and the House up for re-election in 2012 has to be thinking about," said Salon's Steve Kornacki. "It’s going to have that threat hovering over them on every key vote for the next two years."

Totally the right move!, You play our game or we take you out. If we wanted the “Lucy holding the football for charlie brown” routine we would just listen to the republicans.
No better example of the power of the tea party than to take out one they elected. Love it.

Except Scott Brown was not elected by the Tea Party, he was elected by liberal independent women. He's got the key to their hearts...wait....they don't have hearts. OK, he's got the key to their...important parts, and as long as he votes against the DREAM Act when it really counts, and the next Elena Kagan, while keeping his baby-killing base intact, that's OK by me.

Who do you think will replace him if you beat him?

You are asking for a Civil war?

Not a bad idea, but no...I just think conservatives should shake off the Buckley Rule (i.e., support the most conservative candidate who is 'electable'). Opposite that, the democrats put forth the most 'radical' candidate who was electable (while hiding his extreme Socialist-Marxist ideology). Why can't we do the same thing and support a radical conservative (neo George Washington), who could push hard to return us to a Constitutional Republic and radically reduce the Federal Government's powers over States. Short of that, give RINO Scott Brown (who took my campaign donation also) a primary challenge. If we lose, we lose...but at least we would have tried!

No warning, his defeat serves as a greater warner to all other current and future candidates. The problem is with parents and constituents ... they warn too often and do not spank enough.

He didn’t stop Obamacare though I don’t blame him for that. However he’s just a typical NE RINO who loves to flip the bird to the party base. If he loses the next election no great loss.

Brilliant strategy. /s

This means every dollar spent to kick SB out (which will end up electing yet another far left kook) is a dollar that will not be spent to defeat the saboteur, Dick Lugar. Who comes from a red state.

No wonder they say the Tea Party isn’t ready for prime time.

I hate to say it, but Brown is probably the best the GOP is ever going to do in MA.

Hey, I was just throwing it out there. Ya see, I was a Christine O’Donnell voter and we all know how that turned out. While I have no regrets and would do it all over again, I just thought MA cons should know what they are getting themselves into.

First blush, that is what I think also, but like anything got to start chipping away at it little by little.
I think conservatives tendency to accept the status quo is one of the reasons we are in this sad situation. We have just begun to fight.
But you are probably right anyway

My suggestion is to have an alternative before you pull the rug out from under Brown. Otherwise, you might get another Kennedy.

“I cant believe that Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins have lasted so long.”

RINO candidates in liberal states get stronger when they are attacked by right-wingers. Brown probably is happy that the Tea Party is angry at him.

A guy like him who caucuses with and sometimes votes with the Republicans is the best you can get from the state that has given us Kerry and Kennedy for decades. We can’t elect a real conservative from there at this point in time and its worth the tea party crowd understanding that sometimes pragmatism is a virtue. Delaware is a perfect example of where a bunch of fools threw away a fortune and threw away a chance at winning because they weren’t the slightest bit pragmatic, politically astute, or farsighted.

“I am convinced that a RINO is worse than a Democrat. It’s a debatable issue, but I really believe that a RINO like Specter does more damage to conservatism than a Democrat.”

So if I offered to make a couple Dems turn into RINOS so the Senate would flip would you turn that down?

I agree with you but in MA we need to start slow and work our way up. We can’t go from crawling to a triathlon runner. Just the fact that he got elected is earth shattering in this state.

Good luck unseating Kerry.

I was a Christine O’Donnell voter and we all know how that turned out.

I gave money to O'Donnell's campaign and also DeMint's Senate Conservatives Fund and don't regret it one bit. O'Donnell, 'witch' and all, would have been better than the "bearded Marxist". Scott Brown has fallen short and I regret giving him one dime of my money, which won't happen again.

Short of the Tea Party crowd, the American spirit, founded on freedom and liberty, is running on fumes because people prefer to watch CNN and American Idol while Rome burns. Lies and deceit come out of the mouths of top political leadership in D.C., and the media is complicit. 'We The People' will wake up some day to bullets fired to the back of political adversaries heads when this Socialist-Marxist party is threatened with losing power (they envy Chavez' dictatorship and totalitarian rule).

Except for RINO Lugar! He has already said he is organized ready to take on the Tea Party’s candidate.

There's been a lot of speculation about why Mike Pence is resigning his leadership position, mostly centered around a run for Governor or President. Personally, I hope he takes on Lugar. If that happened, I think 'ole Dick would decide it is time to retire.

There is one good thing that Rino traitors like Brown, Snowe, Collins, et. al. do for the GOP: They increase the headcount in the senate.

We should just defeat more democRATS in 2012 and overpower the Rino vote.
