Global warming explanations made up as they go along
Orange County Register ^ | December 22nd, 2010 | Mark Landsbaum

You may have heard the fascinating explanation for the cold weather sweeping the globe. Yeah, some say that global warming is making the earth cold. There’s, of course, better explanations, but don’t expect to hear them from the global warming alarmists.

We’ll provide some comments on this canard for you on the warmists’ inability to have predicted, let alone explain, the cold snap, though:

“You can make up any analogy you want, but the fact is that computer models don’t show that change,” Pat Michaels, a climatologist and senior fellow at the Cato Institute told The Daily Caller. It is, said Michaels, the “core problem of climatology:” “It is attempting to explain everything even when everything becomes contradictory.”

And this:

“They make this stuff up as they go along,” said Myron Ebell, director of the Center of Energy and Environment at the Competitive Enterprise Institute.

“This failure to skillfully predict any of the extreme weather patterns we have seen in the past should be a wake-up call to policymakers and the public that the climate science community is overselling the prediction skill that is possible,”

writes Roger Pielke Sr. “Unfortunately, they also continue to miss the significance that it is the regional circulations that matter much more, not a global average anomaly, as I discussed on my post:

An Example of Why Regional Weather Patterns Are More Important Than A Global-Average Temperature Anomaly

“… Moreover, until and unless they can skillfully predict observationally documented CHANGES in the statistics (probabilities) of the different major circulation patterns, their explanations are necessarily flawed. There is no evidence that the global climate model multi-decadal predictions (and even shorter term runs on a year or less into the future) have the needed skill.”

But what the heck, why not implement a bunch of costly rules...

Warming, Cooling, Earthquakes, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, and Tsunami’s are all prophecies of the end times in the Bible...so neither/or are predictable or the product of man. Al Gore is a liar, and all those Global Warming morons part of a conspiracy to control everyone’s finances and the world, through environmentalism.
Thank God Gore did not win Presidential election in 2000, or we all would be under the thumb of the UN, and his green agenda....

Is it the height of arrogance for man to think he has the power to change the global climate when he cannot even figure out how to steer a hurricane or stop a tornado - some hubris. I happen to think any warming (and/or cooling) is very insignificantly impacted by man, but primarily by God. But that of course does nothing to help algore and his buddies sell futures in the carbon trading scheme, and it certainly doesn't help the globalists in their wet dream of sucking America dry via a WEALTH REDISTRIBUTION scheme they thought their Kenyan would force on us in the name of "cap and tax".

The GOP better stand their ground on this issue, notwithstanding that RINO Graham in the Senate.

AGW is the Tautology that cannot be disproved. For all their blather about skeptics rejecting “science”, real science requires theories to be falsifiable. In this case any evidence to the contrary is yet more confirmation of the correctness of the Alarmist position or the malevolent intent of their enemies. It more like a cult mentality.

How dare you fail to roll over and believe in official faery tales.

OK, no more faery tales. We're your rulers after all. Just give us all your money, and we'll let some of your children live. To be slaves.

I believe man-made global warming caused the cold weather.

Of course, I believe it also causes ring around the collar, halitosis, poor tipping, athlete's foot, bad grades, and temper tantrums in 2-year-olds.

Did I mention I also believe in Santa Claus, the Tooth Fairy, the Easter Bunny, and the Great Pumpkin?

I knew Global Warming was BS right from the start. Why is that? The Earths temperature goes up one degree or so and ALL is catastrophe. Droughts rising seas, famine everywhere. All forms of bad weather. Are you to tell me if the temperature goes up slightly nobody is happier? There is no grape farmer praising the longer season? Not one bird survived winter migration because of a warmer climate? To believe the GW clowns, nobody gains from 1 degree of change.

Fox News just had global warming discussion, quite funny, as the liberal Betsy tried to defend the cold weather as part of global warming. Yep, it’s all about the money, and cap and trade to finance their NWO.

Warming, Cooling, Earthquakes, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, and Tsunami’s are all prophecies of the end times in the Bible

Actually, the Bible, particularly Matthew 24, says the exact opposite. For example, the "wars and rumors of wars" are said by our LORD to be regular occurrences, not to be confused with the end times. Indeed, throughout history, the world has had wars and rumors of wars - little ones like "The Hundred Years Wars" and the various revolutions and WWI and WWII. Even Israel had a major war, yet against the words of the people our LORD cautioned you not to "take heed" of since they are out to "deceive you", there wasn't this return of the LORD. Now you have no real wars going on and the false prophets are saying that this is The End because there might be a war with the North Koreans or with Iran. Your Prophets are worse than the AGW Prophets.

Our LORD also said that it would be like the days of Noah and Lot (Luke 17:26,28) yet those days were not characterized as being with famine, pestilence, wars, and other badness that your false prophets scare you into believing - those days and times were characterized by wealth and ease.

Pick one. Listen to and believe highly compensated liars and lunatics like Lindsey and LaHaye, or listen to God.

These arguments are on the news I'm watching now....

"Why don't we err on the side of caution" is the catch phrase of the moment.

Seems to me they've been making those errors since the '70's.

I don’t know, if ALGORE had won the Presidency, we would have finally had the upwelling of the conservative grass roots, without 0. Any thing that would have kept us from the rule of Zero has got to be a good thing. Even that insane Hitler lookalike Al is better than 0.

Jesus talks about the ‘end to come’ just prior to Mark 13:8; Luke 21:11 repeats Jesus comments in vs 11 “There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilance, in various places, and FEARFUL EVENTS and great signs from heaven.” NIV

Now, I prefer the NIV, as this translation is closest to the original greek and hebrew. I love the King James Version, and it’s poetic prose says the same thing, but the thee and thou was not part of the speech of Jesus time, in greek or hebrew.

Hope that clears it up for you, as you are right about ‘wars and rumors of wars’ and ‘nation against nation’, as in Luke 21:10.
Yes, it says ‘as in days of Noah’ meaning people will be caring on normal tasks, marriages and living life dealing with those things as we have in past years...like Katrina, CA wildfires, Haiti earthquake or Midwest floods, tornadoes etc...life goes on.

Have you noticed the Council on Foreign Relations printed on wall behind the Iman pushing the Mosque in NYC...that’s disturbing to see them backing him.

True, but no matter what you think of Bush, Al Gore could not have handled 9/11, as he would have been like Nero fiddling while Rome burned. His partying with rock bands was worse at Wash VP home, while Clinton was Pres than Zero is doing now.
Gore’s reaction to the election loss, and his bitterness while teaching at Harvard showed that his ability to handle the world leaders’ was zilch. While VP I read some info on his visit to Asia, and Gore was not liked, they thought his table manners were terrible.

When Obama made his big acceptance speech, he said people would look back and see that this was the time the Earth was healing and the Sea Levels started to recede.

I'm quite surprised that the Democrats aren't taking credit for this obvious end of Global Warming. Then again, that would be a problem for them because they changed the term “Global Warming” into “Global Climate Change” right after Obama won the Presidency.

“Yep, it’s all about the money, and cap and trade to finance their NWO”

You mean it's a scheme?

You mean they LIED?

You mean its FRAUD?

Where is a Federal prosecutor or State Attorney that will file charges against the individuals and organization's (ICLEI) that are engaged in this?
