In Nashville TN or crashville TN at the moment it is a big mess, it's been light snow most of the afternoon at about 32­°. But as soon as the sun went down the temperature drop enough to make those highway black ice or a sheet of ice, the major highways in Nashville are pretty much shut down now. Anyway it's a big mess out there driving in Middle Tennessee, I know this is a thread on South Carolina but I just thought I’d throw my 2 cents into the thread about Tennessee. ­

I was driving in back of a Mazda Z years ago on black ice. How we didn’t crash is a mystery, as the RWD just spun the guy down I-5 like a slinky.

It was black ice, and man, that stuff is way beyond snow plows.
