If troops - in all honesty - cannot serve with gays, then those troops should be allowed to ask for and receive an honorable discharge.

No. No concessions. Do NOT surrender the colors.

Make these people bring court-martial charges against enlisted and officers alike who won't go along with the "gay is okay" program. Make them go high-profile against brave, serving men and women of moral character, in public.

Demand the Reds mount their show trials where we can all see what happens, and what these "toleration" advocates are really made of.

In theory, I agree with your arguments, but as a former junior enlisted man I know that such adamant views as yours can cause great pain in the ranks.
I'd hate to think that some E4 is forced into a general court martial because he cannot in good conscience serve with gays but can't get out with the honorable discharge he deserves as he has several years left on his enlistment.
