Speaking of sliced-off fingers, they are now able to regrown severed fingers back to 'like new' condition (even including the fingerprints).

I had a young nephew who recently severed three fingers in a woodworking shop, and his grew back within about six weeks.

I'm not certain if they can be recovered if cut below the knuckle, however.

The sword isn’t a bad weapon within its limits. You must be close to the enemy, and focused completely. Against opponents armed with firearms, you’re in trouble, but against thugs armed with clubs and the like, you are not bad off.

I’ve got a sword. don’t know how to use it, but it’s got a sharp point. I’m sure I could figure something out in an emergency.

A good Katana is my choice for the Zombie Apocalypse.

Never runs out of ammo.

“Looks a bit chintzy.”

It is a mass produced product that can be had for less than $90 retail.

It may not be exactly fair to compare it to your custom item hand crafted by a fine Swiss or German artisan.

It looks like it can do an acceptable job.

Have you known anyone who’s bought any of their products?

I have bought quite a number of Cold Steel products over the years, and have always been pleased with their quality and utility. They come out of the box sharp.

Their products are made for use.

I purchased a boar spear, mostly for fun, but I have hunted boar, so there was the possibility it could be used for hunting. When it arrived, I was struck by just how effective a spear is as a weapon. I recommend their products.

Interesting. I might have to get myself a Katana. Thank you.

Never bring a club to a sword fight.

Who keeps a sword within reach to use in self defense? I mean, you know, besides Zorro.

Not many people would keep a sword within reach. If I had to guess, I'd say there can be only one.

I wonder if there was any "haggis" involved?

Always wondered about those "Highlander" folk. Walking down the street or in an office building etc, etc, they could always whip out anything from a broad sword to a samurai sword that you didn't see them carrying.
Where the hell were they hiding them?

>> Police say a man in a car went inside his home to grab a wooden club and tried to hit another man in the leg who was parked nearby.

The frustrated neighbor got his sword...
