Theory: Like the Minnesocoldans, Maine is made of small Northern European populations (Brits and Scots and Irish) without much ethnic or social diversity (just like Swedes and Norwegians and Poles in MN). I resent that!
We also have a LARGE Somali population.

We also have a LARGE Somali population. Don't forget that we have a very large "French" population. That's where LePage, Michaud, Levesque and many others came from. LePage is the first Franco to have been elected to statewide office in Maine.
