When the earth sun and moon line up, we get earthquakes.
Was wondering if the Lunar Eclipse would have anything to do with an increase in seismic activity..

Sounds nasty, any tsunami alerts?
Not yet...It’s not on the News Sites yet either.
Ping.
Stay with it, what with the lunar equinox it may portend something larger than normal.
9.3 miles deep, so most likely not. Depends on what type if EQ it was.
Yes I sure will, also since I am in Cali-fornia!

I am in Alaska, more to where is about 11 miles north of Wasilla, we get more earthquakes here than CA, I don’t feel any less than 3.5 and even a 5.0 was just a “bump” here, a bit scary but we are on that “Ring of Fire”, down along the Aleutian chain they get a lot of BIG shakers.
Godzilla?
Ironic that you ask. Actually, it was...
0.1 M rise can be seen on this map location.

.01 meter is about 4 inches, that can multiply upon a long shallow shoreline, I remember the Chilean quake and the tsunami fears when it hit Hawaii.
Yep, me too. I have family on Kauai.
Aren’t MO and the kids are in Hawaii?
Hope everyone is safe.
Yep, a lot of creaking and slipping going on. Hope there isn’t any serious damage or injury. I notice the almost daily 4+ mag quake of Southern Yemin happened today as well.
Going to jump in the shower?
