ya know, more and more, I think wikileaks is doing us a favor. Yeah, some things they are releasing aren’t in our best interests, but I think overall, this has actually been informative in a good way.

Russia already has made up its mind on whether its part of any civilization, western or otherwise.
Before the Soviet Union existed, their intelligence agency existed. Nobody understands why the Russians are who they are, but maybe, someday, the Chinese will get as sick of their crap as they are.
The thing about China, is that they understand how difficult it is to keep 2 billion people occupied. They are pissed because in 200 years the US lept over 5000 years of Chinese civilization. The Russians want to take over the world. The Chinese just want props for being the longest lasting civilization on earth.
Who wants to live like the Russians? Seriously. At least the Chinese are willing to learn. They’ve for the most part left Hong Kong alone. They still want Taiwan back, but not if it means poking themselves in the eye. They’ve attempted giving people property rights.
Russia? Just thieves and thugs. There’s no market there.
