Bill Richardson’s trip to North Korea isn’t approved by the Obama administration, but he’ll give officials a “full report” when he returns, the State Department says.

The New Mexico governor is on a “private visit” to North Korea and “did not ask our permission before he went,” State Department spokesman P.J. Crowley told reporters on Monday. “We did not approve his visit

It is long past due that the US should enforce the Logan Act (1799). Were we to do so, Jane Fonda, Ted Kennedy, Jesse Jackson, et al. would be behind bars.

Text of the Logan Act

§ 953. Private correspondence with foreign governments.

Any citizen of the United States, wherever he may be, who, without authority of the United States, directly or indirectly commences or carries on any correspondence or intercourse with any foreign government or any officer or agent thereof, with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government or of any officer or agent thereof, in relation to any disputes or controversies with the United States, or to defeat the measures of the United States, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.

This section shall not abridge the right of a citizen to apply himself, or his agent, to any foreign government, or the agents thereof, for redress of any injury which he may have sustained from such government or any of its agents or subjects.

1 Stat. 613, January 30, 1799, codified at 18 U.S.C. § 953 (2004).

If you think Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Jesse Jackson, or Bill Richardson, Ruth Bader Ginsberg(resides in France when court is out of session), Alan Greenspan(resides in Cuba with his media doll), are not acting with government support even though it may be classified, you’re dreaming.

It’s probably not legal to travel to nk, so this is either hillary playing foggy bottom games or comrade zero is looking to replace susan rice with a richardson redux.

Since when do people like this carry their own bag, especially with a shoulder strap for extra clinginess?

And no, Madeline Albright was not the hotel maid, to carry bags this time.

He has 11 days left as governor. The “real” Hispanic governor is already working to overturn his driver’s licenses for illegals law:
