Damn right. My two Newfies (Newfoundland) are aging but still spry. They are most definitely our children, especially since the daughter moved to New York to take a corporate high muckety-muck job in the elite fashion industry. Those pups are our kids and I'd react to any attack on them as an attack on me. Especially on our property.
