What's the point of the GOP??

I mean, really. Why are they even there?

How many FReepers are going to comment during the public comment period of this bill, I wonder.

If it's the usual, there won't be too many.... lots of whining, but no real action.

And yes, comments do work. I've gotten very fundamental changes made via comments.

How many FReepers are going to comment during the public comment period of this bill, I wonder.

For those of us with more experience with gardening than with politics, how exactly does one go about doing that? Is there a phone number, an address to send letters to? Or is it just "call your congresscritter and leave a message"?
