I’m praying for a Zero impeachment day with trials for whomever plotted to put him in office and the traitors that cleansed his entire life. Clemency for whomever comes forward with the evidence.

Let’s all pray for investigations into this Congress and jail time for the corruption that is exposed.

Nice. We called him “Impotus” then and he’s probably impotus for real now.

I would like to know if anyone has a source from the SRM print or TV that refers to William Jefferson Clinton as the “disgraced, impeached former President”

You would think something so monumental in the history of the U.S. such as the impeachment of a President that the media would mention it once or twice when refering to Slick.

I always refer to him as the “Treasonous, impeached, bent-crank violent rapist”

Thanks for posting and reminding us, kristinn... I have fond memories of that glorious Freep in 1998. My wife and I drove down from CT; our kids joined us for the great outing. We parked around 20th Street on Constitution Ave. and walked down from there. We visited the pool dedicated to the Founders — very moving. When we arrived at the gathering, I was walking up toward the Freep-Central and I heard Matt Drudge doing a voice-over for his TV show that evening. I turned around to greet him and he did a quick impromptu interview which didn’t make it to the show. He asked me why we (my family and I) were here and as I recall, I told him about stopping by the Founders Pool and how I was struck by the reminder that these patriots had pledged “their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor” when they signed the Declaration of Independence and I said I couldn’t imagine what they would think of the current occupant of the WH and his sacred honor.

It was a wonderful gathering — thoughts of it came back when the Tea Party arrived in September 09... I couldn’t help thinking that Free Republic started this fire!

Eagles UP!

The sad thing is that figuratively speaking WE served his time for him. He wasn’t removed, nor did he see a moment peering through gray bars.

Wondering when we will break from Leftist prison?

Wow, those were the days, especially here at FR. “Impeachment summer” on Free Republic was like watching a 300-car freight train run into a wall. ...Day after day, hour by hour, one new expose after another. NOBODY covered it like Free Republic.

My family was walking outside Radio City Music Hall in New York City on this day 12 years ago, and it was a brisk December day and I remember looking across the street and seeing one of those scrolling electric banners going around the corner of an office building and it said, “CLINTON IMPEACHED”.

Great reminder post!

I still have a framed copy of the "Clinton Impeached" newspaper hanging above a worn out fax machine and the old 386 PC in a corner of my home office! That particular battle was won... but the War continues.

Free Republic organized two rallies in D.C. supporting Clinton's impeachment. The first was a four hour extravaganza that was carried live on C-SPAN and featured the vast right wing conspiracy: Jim Robinson, Rep. Bob Barr, Ann Coulter, Matt Drudge, Lucianne Goldberg, Alan Keyes, Larry Klayman and a host of 5,000 or so fellow conspirators.

We drove down from PA and were there for the first rally where we were introduced to Jim Robinson. We went to the dinner to thank the House Managers at the Hilton. We met Freepers there and spoke with Lucianne and Jonah. It was a huge event, never to be forgotten.

I still have the pins that say:
