The statement alone would be enough to bring fraternization charges against both ===BUT you can’t trust what the press prints anymore, more than likely the ‘writer’ was trying to be cute/coy in the same breath.

Fraternization between officers and enlisted is a no-no. This will cause disciplinary problems whenever there is a breakup and they are in the same unit.
