Look whose way ahead ....hint ... it's not Herman Cain.
That's all right. I just hope she wins the RedState Poll.
Tis true! I would be very happy with the ticket, but we must win. I'm not saying they wouldn't win... only that it might be tougher [or not].
...In a recent poll, Herman Cain, in the MO of Ron Paul, had all of his FaceBook friends *pump* his numbers.I understand your concern.
But that the previous poll (the one that Herman Cain "FReeped" from his facebook page) -- was on THIS VERY SAME WEBSITE (RedState.com) -- which is one of the main reasons that they are running it again now. :o)
Since FR took down the "thread view" counter, we can no longer know for certain how many FReepers viewed this thread -- but in the old days, when we could, a very popular thread like Ann Coulter's weekly column would regularly get around 1,500 "thread views."Plus, Governor Palin may not have even been the only person that FReepers from this thread voted for.Sometimes as much as 2,000. But that's for Ann's regular weekly column. THIS thread (posted on a weekend night) probably only got a few hundred "thread views."
And, based on my previous experience with "FReeping" polls, we wouild be lucky to get TEN PERCENT of those who "viewed" this thread to actually VOTE.
So we might expect that AT MOST, FReepers from this thread added a few hundred votes to that poll. Probably more like a few dozen. Here are the CURRENT results, post "FReeping."And, you cannot easily "vote like a Democrat" on these RedState polls. I know; I tried. ;)
Not much change Governor Palin's position.
Who is your initial preferred pick for the GOP President Candidate Selection Votes Haley Barbour 4% 360 John Bolton 4% 335 Jeb Bush 3% 246 Herman Cain 8% 680 Mitch Daniels 8% 649 Mike Huckabee 5% 396 Sarah Palin 33% 2,716 Tim Pawlenty 5% 388 Mike Pence 14% 1,133 Rick Perry 3% 275 David Petraeus 3% 216 Mitt Romney 8% 686 John Thune 2% 185 8,265 votes total
Bottom line: Internet polls are generally worthless, and Presidential polls this far out are almost meaningless...
...but the results of this current poll show that Sarah is still "ineluctable," in MY opinion. :o)

Strange...Petraeus is on there and DeMint isn’t.
Thanks ... Pence voted for.. and in second place.
Elect Sarah Palin for President 2012
Re-Elect President Sarah Palin 2016
I’m not surprised by Palin; a little surprised by Pence; and quite surprised that people-—even though they don’t really know his politics-—haven’t hamed Petraeus more. It’s an American tradition to gravitate toward successful conservative generals: Washington, Jackson, Harrison, Grant, Ike.
That should be a signal to the GOP.
Any person without at minimum of a double-digit percentage will lose the General Election.
They didn’t pay attention to that in 2008 when they selected McCain, and he lost by 2-to-1 Electoral votes.
I have a feeling Sarah will not run...
Sarah List has not been pinged here...yet, and I looked at C4P and there’s no mention of this poll that I spotted there.
Aside from Palin, that is the weakest field of Presidential candidates in my memory. (Erickson didn’t even add Demint!)
Of course, if you add Palin to this list, her presence so raises the average as to make it among the strongest fields.
Without Palin, however, this GOP field is....well...what Obama hopes to find under his tree:
Regional candidates, first time candidates, boring candidates, moderate GOP Establishment squishes who will depress turnout and a Bush thrown in for good measure.
Well Brice your comment sums it perfectly WHY Gov. Palin has to run.
LOL. Yes. I know that DeMint is not listed! Erickson is taking him at his word, that he is not running and not interested in running. Aside from Sarah Palin, the Grand Old Party currently lacks star power when it comes to presidential politics. I think we might have some stars in the bull pen for later years.
BTTT
‘conservative generals”
huh ?
With a pinch of retread thrown in. :)
Man, does your description sum this current crop up (ex Palin). How far the GOP has fallen since the days of the Gipper.
Governor Palin still dominates:

Who ELSE is out there? What do we know about General Odierno?
