To: who knows what evil?
Well, being that I LIVE in New Hampshire, I think it's pretty safe to say that the vast majority of residents do NOT support gay marriage/civil unions, nor the repeal of DADT.

A few pieces of evidence, if I may:

--The legislature which passed this was a Dem majority, as was the state Senate. Since that time, the Legislature has gone from a (appx.) 250-150 Dem majority to a 297-103 GOP majority. Likewise, the state Senate went from a 14-10 Dem majority to a 19-5 GOP majority.

--Gay marriage was NEVER placed on a referendum. The people never got to decide.

--The incoming House leadership has repeal of the gay marriage law on their 2011 agenda (along with spending cuts, tax limitations, etc.)

--Here in NH, there was an Episcopalian diocese who allowed gays/gay marriages in the congregation. Within a year, that congregation dropped by over 50 percent.

--No poll has been taken by any reputable organization which shows the majority of NH resident support gay marriage. Ever.

Please, don't lump me with the "homosexual agenda" simply because I don't parrot your line or those of the more ignorant on this board.

A lot of 'if wishes were fishes' baloney in your post. A poll taken by UNH back in 2009 indicated that NH residents supported gay marriage by 55 - 39%...of course; you are free to state that poll isn't credible due to its source. You can say that about any poll. As for the new GOP majority? Republicans that support the likes of Gregg, Collins, Snowe, Brown? Those kind of Republicans? So repeal is on the agenda? When it is a 'done deal', then you can crow about it. Until then...speculation. By the way...I didn't lump you in with any 'pro homosexual agenda'...don't be so 'touchy'. As far as ignorant goes...my in-laws were all born in NH, and they aren't opposed to 'gay marriage'...my wife is the only exception. I don't believe that the opinion of someone who relocated to NH from California carries any more weight than those people who were actually born here. You believe a majority of NH residents oppose 'gay marriage' and the repeal of 'DADT'; I don't.

We'll just have to 'agree to disagree' on that one.
