They are what they are when it comes to the correct wording and just because they play the name game and hyjack the word gay does not mean all of us have to play it.
"Catamite" is pretty classy ..... likewise degraded, but classy. I like "jessie" (Scots dialectal), and the black Georgia farmhands are wont to call lesbian women "bullbitch". Less class, but plenty of punch, and exquisitely illuminating. "Freemartin" is a more restrictive, but esthetically pointed choice.
Then you have your ephebophiles, pederasts, and various other paraphiliac savants, who are so incredibly degenerate that it begins to look like couture to them. "Sodomite" works pretty well for all of them.
