Kids today watch an older movie or read an older book and as soon as they see the word gay or hear it they think or perverts sadly.
My mom homeschooled me and when I was little I liked to read a number of old classics, and increased my vocabulary this way. But I remember that once when I used the word 'gay' in a conversation with mom, she quickly had to tell me to not use that word anymore becasuse of its newer meaning that I had not heard of. I got so mad at the stupid pervs who had to ruin a nice word.....
