I worked with a lesbo ( old bag with many mental problems..go figure ) and we got into an argument about fag rights...she said it was not right that her “partner” could not automatically inherit her crap because they could not be legally married. I told her that my wife is not guaranteed my crap if i die and do not leave a will. It would have to go through probate. I told her to do what married people do, and make up a will and durable power of attorney. She thought that was too much to do, and never bothered me again....out of the thousands of fags I have met, only a handful can be remotely considered to be real humans...the rest are mentally deficient, with large amounts of emotional baggage

Absolutely! Talk about “bitter clingers!” Homos are the most miserable, bitter people I’ve ever had the misfortune of having to work with. Even the closet cases....when things get tough, they start acting bizarre (which is how I figured out what their “preference” was). They’re just a bunch of self-hating little cruds and I can imagine what they’ll do for military morale.

I can’t see their crap being tolerated by tough soldiers and Marines in combat zones. I hope the matter can be dealt with on a personal level, if you know what I mean.

I carry a few business cards of our attorney who set up our trust, living wills and power of attorneys.

When a leftie or misfit starts to whine about the injustice, I hand them on our lawyer’s cards and say: ‘For $1200, you and your partner can have the same protection as my wife and I! Obviously, both of you don’t really care about each other or your would set up trust!”

The truth is that with a written will, anyone can leave anything to anyone at all - Leona Helmsley left millions to her dog !

Gay marriage is not the solution to this problem—the solution is to change inheritance law! Anyone should be allowed to leave their interitance to anyone they choose WITHOUT ANY GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE / TAXATION!!!!

That statement kinda caught my eye.

Uh, let me guess... Since I'll bet you don't work as a bar tender in a gay club in Detroit, I would guess you work for the County Health dept?

By the way, I live in the same county you do...

Is that really how it works in Michigan?

Texas is big on protecting spouses, and mean big. All money and real property acquired during our marriage automatically becomes hers and I cannot will any portion to anyone else without her legally documented consent.

She’s legally entitled to half of any money I may have had that predates our marriage with the other half being split among any children I may have. If there was any real property she’s entitled to one third of that, and the remaining two-thirds go to any children I may have. I can will her everything above the 1/3 and short the children, but I cannot deny her that 1/3 without her legally documented consent. If there are no children, she has claim to 100% of said money and property, as I cannot legally will any portion of that to anyone other than my offspring without her consent.

If I buy a life insurance policy. I must name her as beneficiary of at least half the policy, and can only divide the other half amongst my offspring. I cannot name my children as beneficiary to more than half, or leave someone other than my children any portion of the policy again without her legally documented consent.

Good point — they want things to change FOR them, disregarding us.
