Try logging in again. Facebook never deletes any of your information.

Yes, I know that it all stays around. I "unfriended" everyone, "unliked" anything I'd tagged, deleted all pictures except for a few I'd posted in a public group of old friends, took everything off my profile, then told them to take a flying leap.

I know it all worked because I got a call from my air-head SIL about 3 days later because she couldn't "tag" me in a picture of her mugging at some bar so I'd see the picture and show it to the wife. This after I had asked her not to do it a few times and practically yelled at her not to post pictures of her kids (9 and 4) there.

You can deactivate your account, but if you ever try to log in again, it will remember you and welcome you back to the world of facebook.

Only website in the world I know that does that. Google may. They are evil too.
