What a fine person and retired soldier you are. I am honored to make your cyber aquaintance.
Reality is reality...
You speak truthfully, and eloquently, to the female warrior myth and to the ultimate realities of homosexuals in our military.
This is bad...beyond bad. This is a death sentence for the military, and for our national security.
To say that I am horrified by today's events would be an understatement. I lost my father, a 25 year veteran, last year and miss him every single day. I find it ironic that right now, the only thing I can find to be thankful for is that he isn't here to witness this. May God have mercy on us all.
"Scared" and "frightened" are words that are often misused, but today I think I am truly frightened for the future of our nation. One of the few things we've always been able to count on...the strength and solidity of the Armed Forces...is now is question, and that scares the living hell out of me, pardon the French.
I can hear the howls of laughter coming from enemy capitals...Mexico City, Riyadh, Tehran, Caracas, Pyongyang, Moscow, Beijing, Damascus, etc...at the thought of how easy it's going to be to do in our nation once and for all.
