Wrong, imo. Spoken from a Dad of a Marine. Open gays are going to find a hard road to travel. Ultimately, they will learn the truth of the adage “Be careful what you ask for.”
They (the homos) have not thought this all the way out.
One look at Fairy Reid tells you he is a FAG.
I must agree whole heartedly. I expect that homosexuals will continue to be ostracized and segregated in the Military. Boot will be hard(er) on them, peers will not tolerate any shirking and will self-police as needed to weed them out.
The gays that do survive the ritualistic ripping apart of their fabric to be re-assembled as lean, mean fightin’ machines will still be uncomfortable and in the end might leave early...
I will be surprised if the number of openly homosexual members is more than 10,000.
I think the number of actual gay marriages was a very low percentage as well. This isn’t really about a groundswell of interest by gay people to serve the country, it’s about sticking a finger in the eye of normalcy, an “in your face” move.
fergetiaboutit! Just wait. Once this becomes law, the FIRST thing that’s going to happen is that the military will institute Gay Diversity Training and EVERY marine will be ORDERED to attend. The brainwashing will proceed from there.
“Open gays are going to find a hard road to travel. “
Perhaps you can answer my conjecture - will the most egregious examples just get fragged?
I believeyou are right.I just do not see a bunch of hardcore marines dealing with this very well in battle. They may want to be careful of what they ask for because the end result may not be what they bargained for.
