What does that mean, that the military will then be able to set its own commonsense policies about homosexuality? No, I don’t think they’ll let that happen. Instead you’ll have gays running around base, engaging in behavior that would land any straight soldier in hot water, with the leadership’s hands tied because homosexuality will have become a protected status. I say that, because this is what happens. Go to any pride parade or gay bar in the country; such public indecency wouldn’t be tolerated from any other group - but free passes are generously handed out based on an individual’s claim to this one particular form of perversion.
