Looks to me like officer Birk did not wait for any facts.
I’ve seen someone get shot by an opposing gang member. Victim was “South Side” and suspect was “Central District.”
Central District is referred to as “CD” pronounced “Cee Dee”
The report read that the suspect was yelling “CD” just before shooting the victim.
The crime reporter on the top news radio station in this area reported that the victim was shot over an argument compact disc.”
Now, I could see a lay person making that mistake, but we count on the media to be semi accurate and knowledgeable about stuff they report on.
That is but one example of how reality is portrayed innacurately by the media.
So, like I said, I’m witholding judgement until I see the reason for the officer’s stop.
If he had a legitimate reason for stopping Mr. Williams, then what unfolded may be ruled justified.
If not, then he will have a hard time not facing charges.
