Obamas not invited to UK royal wedding: report

US President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, will not be invited to the London wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton, Britain's the Daily Mail reported Friday.

Since Prince William is "neither the sovereign or the heir to the throne," according to a spokesman from St. James' Palace, his April 29 wedding is not classified as a "state occasion" and escapes the more formal trappings of such events -- including the high profile guest list.

The royal couple reportedly wants to fill the 2,000 seats of Westminster Abbey with charity workers and citizens deserving of special recognition as opposed to heads of state.

The symbolism here is huge...Obama didn't make the cut. He was snubbed!

And when the wedding is televised and everyone else in the civilized world is present BUT the Obamas, all the world will know that the U.K. said FU to Barky and Moochie!

I'm sure this will deepen Michelle's scowl by at least 10 terrabytes, but she should not have touched the Queen...that's a no-no and moochie exhibited her total lack of class by doing it.

With bammy's propensity to think of himself as a "world dignitary", I'm sure his ego will take a hit for losing face among the dictators of the world.

But, I can't blame the Brits...obama has shown nothing but contempt for them since he was elected.

Not really. They’re just getting payback for Obozo’s return of that bust of Churchill and giving the queen DVDs of the Narcissist-n-Thief’s speeches. Actually, they’re shoving Sir Winston up his gazornaplatz. (Poor Winnie.)

Fortunaltely for the Brits, the DVDs were not formatted for Europe so they couldn’t view them anyway. (A British friend has told me they’re using them for coasters.)

And if they wanted to hear him make a speech, all they have to do is turn on the telly, any day, any hour and there he’ll be in all his ignorance.
