Look familiar?
That is from page 1685 of the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2011 also known as the Senate Omnibus spending bill which was released this afternoon to keep the government funded and running through FY 2011. As I warned on my radio program and in earlier articles there would be some major games played and as the American people slumber watching football, bowl games, Christmas shopping, and shoveling snow the attempts to usurp the will of the people and the Constitution are well under way. If that particular header doesnt look familiar to my readers, then this one might seem more familiar, split between pages 1 and 2:

If the Omnibus deal is dead, so is this.
It was attached at the end of it.

If the Omnibus deal is dead, so is this. Hopefully, it will stay dead. Bob Corker (RINO - TN) and Lamar! Alexander (RINO - TN) both supported and voted for S510. Lamar! was a co-sponsor. Both need to be removed from office at the first available opportunity.
Tennessee voters take note: Corker is up in '12 and Lamar! is up in '14.

I thought Corker was a NO vote, whereas Lamar co-sponsored the piece of crap.

Also, the 1 billion funding for the health care bill to finance the ‘set up’ in readiness for implementation....it is gone also. I hope this has a real effect on the HC bill.

I saw him interviewed a day before the vote and he said he intended to vote for it. Reviewing the roll call it appears that he did change his mind. I doubt my calling his staff every day had much effect, though. Corker's staffers were downright rude. Alexander's staffers hung up on me twice.
Doesn't change my opinion of Corker in the least, though. He's a weasel of the highest order. Most likely his checks from Monstanto, Cargil, and ADM probably didn't come through in time......

Interesting. Our Congress is full of lickspittles who are desperate to pass this bill. Last week, I saw it attached to one version of a
House spending bill (perhaps this same bill, but it's being called a Senate bill here.) This is quite a long bill to be getting such fervid attention.
Such a laundry list of regulation as this despicable bill carries would be quite valuable to a few, at a great cost to the many. There are evidently many politicos that are leaving the Congress that want to make sure of the feathering of their nests.

YEP!!! Has been mentioned just a little on a few talk shows over the last day or so. Its not the earmarks, its how much is doled out to each Executive Department!!! Each Department needs a budget cut.
Now, I may be wrong here, but I heard that if this thing passes it automatically locks in spending for the next year. Is this true or can the House defund things at any time like the House under Pelosi did with the border fence?
