... the White House is again pushing for final passage of the Dream Act, hosting a conference call with religious leaders who are hoping to drive the deal home before everyone on Capitol Hill heads home for the holidays...According to Fox News producers on Capitol Hill, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., does intend to bring up the DREAM Act during this lame duck session.
So, while lawmakers on the Hill scramble to get everything done, the White House put together another in a series of conference calls on the DREAM Act. Rabbi Jack Moline, from Congregation Agudas Achim in Alexandria, VA says he has been working the phones on this for a while. "I have both personally and publicly called on Senators Warner and Webb to support his act. They were on the fence for a little while," Moline admitted on the call. "Have we done enough? If we had done enough we wouldn't be having this call. It's one of the reasons we're having this call."
Heather Higgenbottom from the White House Domestic Policy Council said the president is working the phones, pushing senators to vote in favor of the DREAM Act whenever it does come up for a vote and also told reporters that Defense Secretary Gates has written to the sponsors of the act...to show his support.
And in perhaps a final appeal for senators to vote in favor of the DREAM Act, Dr. Joel Hunter from A Church Distributed in Northland, FL, implored senators to be fair in their vote saying, "...don't punish the kids for something their parents did."
Even though Reid plans on bringing up the DREAM Act, it's looking less likely there will be enough time for it to get through.

We need to hear from Billy Graham.
I think the stars are lining up, that DREAM is shot out.
LOL @ “religious leaders”
Synagogue of Satan
Sorry I got this mixed up with DADT
What church is Obama friendly with - Rev Wright and his type? True Christian bible believing churches are on to you Obama - no politicing in theirs. When you approve same sex marriage and approve abortion, you lost this group.
Keep calling. This is not over. Fox News Latino? LOL! Our friends at Saudi Prince Al Waleed’s Fox News. Just as bad as Prince AL Waleed’s ABC or his CNN or the other 3 networks he and the Saudi king pull the strings for Obama.
The public is so stupid. All of TV and ALL of Hollywood support the islamist. Same tactics they used to take over the UK.
.... because the last time they listened to Obama, they lost only six seats!
Huzzah!
I hope the republicans have enough balls to threaten losing their tax-exempt status
PROVERBS 6
16 There are six things the LORD hates,
seven that are detestable to him:
17 haughty eyes,
a lying tongue,
hands that shed innocent blood,
18 a heart that devises wicked schemes,
feet that are quick to rush into evil,
19 a false witness who pours out lies
and a man who stirs up dissension among brothers.
PSALM 37
12 The wicked plot against the righteous
and gnash their teeth at them;
13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming.
14 The wicked draw the sword
and bend the bow
to bring down the poor and needy,
to slay those whose ways are upright.
15 But their swords will pierce their own hearts,
and their bows will be broken.
Forever, O Lord, thy Word is firmly fixed in the Heavens. Psalm 119:89
17% real unemployment (20% in some places)- we don’t need any more citizens competing for jobs.
Notice how this WH uses religion only when absolutely necessary?
Since we know who these kids are, why haven’t their parents been deported?
Dear Sen.Weird Al Franken:
A YES on DREAM is a vote to kill the dreams of millions of young unemployed Americans who can’t find a job.
The DREAM Act would give out millions of additional 10-year work permits at a time of 9.8 percent unemployment. Even people who don’t qualify in the first place — or who do qualify for the provisional amnesty but never meet the educational criteria later — all of them can get a 10-year work permit from the start.
Applicants merely have to claim — not provide evidence — that they meet criteria of having been brought to the U.S. before age 16 and being under the age of 30 at time of enactment and being present in the U.S. at least 5 years before enactment of the amnesty, among other criteria.
Once they allege these minimal criteria, the illegal aliens are given “conditional lawful permanent resident status” and are given a 10-year work permit to compete directly with the 22 million Americans who want a full-time job but can’t find one.
Estimates suggest that up to 2 million illegal aliens could legitimately qualify for the opening application, and perhaps a couple million more might be or look young enough to fraudulently apply.
Those millions would immediately be able to legally compete for any U.S. job.
The DREAM amnesty allows those who fail to meet any of the criteria after 10 years to file a claim of hardship. The US Citizenship & Immigration Services agency is given the right to issue waivers and allow these illegal aliens to stay.
Why, at this time of 9.8 percent unemployment, is this Lame Duck considering a giant increase the job competition for unemployed Americans?
Sincerely,
Your Old Pal ,
Wobbly Bob
