I'm just guessing here.....I believe that the drone makers knew how "invisible" and useful the aircraft would be (and is). And for that very reason, an entirely different set of folks have developed ways to "see" and destroy them should the need arise.

At any rate....until that day arrives....I'd like to see thousands of them patroling the boarders and the inbound drug channels.
