If it turns out that Obama is not valid will the verdict be overturned ?

I’m not a Lawyer, so I can’t say for certain.

But, I do believe that the sentence would NOT be overturned.

Here is my rationale. At this point in time, there is no clear reason to believe that he is not qualified to be President. I may not like him, I may QUESTION his legimacy - but I do not know that he is unqualified.

Because I do not KNOW - I must assume he is legitmate, until proven otherwise. Innocence is assumed, guilt needs to be proven.

Otherwise, any soldier could question any command, from any officer - because they questioned the legitimacy of the superior officer to hold the rank they hold. This way leads to chaos.

No. Obama's eligibility or ineligibility is irrelevant to the charges Lakin was convicted of or pled guilty to.

No. Even if we lived in a fantasy universe where the Birther arguments actually had some merit, the fact is that Lakin’s lawfully appointed superior officers, not Barack Obama personally, gave him the orders he chose to disobey.
