Something does not add up?..
“Most educated” probably means the most number of years in school, not intelligence.. Because it takes the typical inner city “student” 17 or 18 years to finish K-12, ergo, “most educated.”
The headline says “Washington area” not Washington, DC. The wealthy areas are in Northern Virginia and suburban Maryland not DC.
It’s a wealth that is distributed among LOTS of folks at the high end of middle class rather than concentrated in super wealthy and everyone else on the low end, i.e., LA. The wealthiest folks that I know of who live in the area (other than say Theresa Kerry who ‘maintains a hone’ here are the reclusive Mars Brothers of M&M fame (not govt).
Both MD and VA have 20 mile stretches of road that have tech lab after tech lab after tech lab. You know, Ph.D’s doing research and development. They work with NASA, NIH, DOD, etc ...and those folks, unlike our elected officials, DO make our lives better in any number of untold ways.
They ain´t talkin’ about the Ford´s Theater ´hood.
