Facebook (and its popularity) is really just a symptom.
The disease is the "look at me!" and "please like me!" attitude that has infected our modern society.
The rugged individualism that was the bedrock for the creation of America has been replaced with a herd mentality of "go along to get along."
I use my FB page to tweak all my lib friends! Post stuff slamming the dems, etc. Can be QUITE entertaining at times. I’m sure many of my ‘friends’ have blocked me, just as I block all the people who spend their time building their farms, or posting that they are off to go shopping, etc.
